I keep seeing posts on your blog about undocumented immigrants and I just can't take it any more. You need to know the truth and your readers need to know the truth.
Do you realize that you are buying into the brainwashing being conducted by our government and the big corporations that own and run our government? Yes you are and you don’t even realize it!
What is this brainwashing you are buying into whole heartedly without even realizing it? Well let me just open your eyes.
Our government and the big corporations that own and run our government began a big push with a propaganda theme and it has been going full swing for at least 15 years. The majority of Americans have bought this lie hook-line-and sinker and you are still believing it today. What is this big lie you are being told and believing? That undocumented immigrants are responsible for taking away all your jobs. That’s right that is a BIG LIE and you don’t even know the truth so let me give you some facts to back this up.
What is happening is that big corporations, those responsible for more than 1/5th of all our middle class jobs, have been and continue to send those jobs overseas. Here is a quote from Plunkett Research, a leading research group on outsourcing and offshoring practices. Offshoring refers to:
The tendency among many U.S., Japanese and Western European firms to send both knowledge-based and manufacturing work to third-party firms in other nations. Often, the intent is to take advantage of lower wages and operating costs.
Our government is assisting these big companies to hide the real figures because when asked the Congressional Research Service said they do not have this information because it is, “not designed to link employment gains or losses in the United States, either for individual jobs, individual companies or in the aggregate, with the gains and losses of jobs abroad.” Isn’t that convenient for them?
Notwithstanding that coverup, the US Department of Commerce showed that “U.S. multinational corporations, the big brand-name companies that employ a fifth of all American workers… cut their work forces in the U.S. by 2.9 million during the 2000s while increasing employment overseas by 2.4 million.” A report on outsourcing by Working America stated that, “Manufacturing employment collapsed from a high of 19.5 million workers in June 1979 to 11.5 workers in December 2009, a drop of 8 million workers over 30 years. Between August 2000 and February 2004, manufacturing jobs were lost for a stunning 43 consecutive months—the longest such stretch since the Great Depression.” Imagine that over 8 million jobs shipped overseas between 1979 and 2004!
Do you see why these big corporations don’t want you to know the truth? OK, so is our government involved in this fiasco? Well as Seth Hanlon explains, our government “rewards companies for making investments abroad—and leads to them shifting offices, factories, and jobs abroad even if similar investments in the United States would be more profitable absent tax considerations.” Why would they do that you ask? Because the big corporations that own our government have paid to get legislation passed that is in their favor. Our government is just a puppet on a string for the big corporations that run the world.
So with all this going on they knew that if the American people discovered what they were REALLY doing we would be pissed as hell so they created a diversion. They focused our attention on undocumented immigrants and painted them as the problem. Do you honestly believe that of the however many undocumented immigrants living here they are the ones who have taken over 10 million of our middle class jobs since 1979? Have you changed jobs lately? Do you remember the mountain of documentation you had to present showing your citizenship just so that you could get that job? How are all those millions of jobs being taken by undocumented immigrants when they can no more provide all that documentation than fly to the moon, even if some have access to forgeries? No folks we have all been hoodwinked by our very own government. Undocumented immigrants are not the problem to our unemployment, or any of the other woes that have been placed at their doorstep. Our problem is big corporations who do not care about anything but profits.
So the next time you want to say something bad about why your lifestyle has gone down, or you lost your job or anything else that you want to blame on undocumented immigrants, think twice because more than likely you are simply repeating a lie that you have been brainwashed into believing by the propaganda campaign put out by those big corporations and our government that are sending all our jobs overseas.
