CKDu, Chronic Kidney Disease of Unknown Origin, is now the second leading cause of death in El Salvador, and is widespread throughout Central America. Sri Lanka sees over 1000 deaths a year from CKDu. Unlike other forms of CKD, CKDu mainly affects kidney tubules, a typical target of kidney toxins. Glyphosate (Roundup) is a chelator which can extract heavy metals from the environment and make them readily absorbable. See the article for further details:
