دعا رئيس الوزراء المكلف حيدر العبادي، اليوم الأربعاء، الحكومة الكندية إلى "تشجيع"، شركاتها للاستثمار في العراق، وأكد على ضرورة أن "تبادر"، الدول التي ليس لها سفارات في بغداد إلى فتحتها، فيما أعرب عن تطلعات العراق إلى تعزيز العلاقات المتميزة مع دول العالم.

وقال المكتب الاعلامي لرئيس الوزراء المكلف حيدر العبادي في بيان تسلمت (المدى برس)، نسخة منه، إن "العبادي استقبل السفير الكندي في العراق برونو ساكوماني والوفد المرافق له، وبحث معه تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين في مختلف المجالات والأوضاع السياسية والأمنية في العراق والمنطقة".

وأضاف البيان أن "رئيس الوزراء أعرب عن تطلعات العراق إلى علاقات متميزة مع دول العالم تقوم على أساس الاحترام المتبادل والمصالح المشتركة وان تبادر الدول التي ليس لديها سفارات في بغداد الى فتحها لتعزيز هذا التعاون"، داعيا الحكومة الكندية إلى "تشجيع شركاتها للاستثمار في العراق وفتح آفاق للتعاون الاقتصادي خلال المرحلة المقبلة".
